I really enjoyed Rebels! From the beginning, I knew some of the
characters were modeled after some of the Ralph McQuare (sp?) artwork. There's a term for it that is escaping me... Where he would draw
different things and Lucas would choose from them.

Basically they were recycled, which meant it had the feel of Star Wars without being a re-hash. Great stuff!

I did rewatch SW: Tales of the Empire and then SW: Tales from the Underground? (Hope I got that right) .. those were kind of different.

I think REBELS is the only series I hadn't
    watched from the animated side.

When I saw the Rebels trailer, I wasn't impressed, particularly with the modeling, compared with previous CGI series. But I gave it a shot and found it throughly enjoyable.

Concept art - that's the word I was looking for.

Just saw "empire" recently at the suggestion of my son. I started
"Underground" and told him about it - but have only seen a couple
    episodes so far.

I remember BAD BATCH had a change towards the last season, didn't they? Like, you could see the paint strokes on their 'materials' and made it an animation. (like my DAZ3D program).

Anyone take the time to try to watch Season 2 of ANDOR?

I won't tell you my thoughts, yet.

I just discovered it thanks to you. Watched S1E1 and I'm surprised Starwars is maturing up to show more serious/adult sci-fi than just that naive stuff I remember from the past.

Not sure, but I enjoyed BAD BATCH at first, but didn't care for
the next season enough to stick with it...

One of the best (and mostly only) prequel series ever made that ACTUALLY tied into a main movie. :)
