  • utf8 vs CP437 encoding

    so i connect to my Mystic BBS with Syncterm and have the font/encoding set to cp437, when i try to play one of my door games - tradwars 2002, the ansi graphics in Tradwars look like garbage, but they are fine when im back in Mystic BBS.

    I dont have the option to select utf8 in Syncterm.. but i can with Putty.. and tradwars looks good.

    I dont really want to use putty if dont have to, any ideas.
