They didn't "end their message" with #VoteBlue, it was part of the
origin line not a statement anyone was making.

As you well know, the origin line is configured to whatever you want it
    to be.

Of course. And someone included the #VoteBlue hashtag in theirs. So what?

It's just as much a part of the message as ... the message. You
know all of this, and choose to argue about it anyway.

It's not been discussed by anyone. It's not been thrown at anyone.

You are offended by it and I am not. Oh well.

Feel free to netmail me if you want to hear my further comments but I am happy to drop it.

So, it's a political statement, which isn't allowed here. Stop
    pretending you don't realize that.

There've been several messages in here about it. Stop pretending you
    don't see them.

You are offended by it and I am not. Oh well.

Offended isn't the correct word, but whatever.

No point in that, as you're dug in and won't listen anyway. No need to
reply, as I'm done with this. You and your "pal" both reflect a common
trait of those who #VoteBlue - "Rules for Thee, but not for Me".

Life is full of politics and political things. No one is discussing politics here.

It's not been discussed by anyone. It's not been thrown at anyone.

Just the ones you keep posting. Even today, no one is discussing politics.

You are offended by it and I am not. Oh well.

Offended isn't the correct word, but whatever.

    Well then what is it?

I am listening. I am not bending to your will.

    I hope so.

Just so you know I don't have much of a concept of "#VoteBlue" or "#VoteRed" or any other color. I have not put any rules on you.

I signed up for a 90-day writing sprint. One hour per day, 6 days a
week. I've done 30-day NANOWRIMOs before, with the intention of getting
a practical first rough draft, this challenge aims to have a complete
    book in 90 days.

My resolution this year is to write consistently, get published (or self-published) and see if I can make some income writing.

    Nice!

I did a single NaNoWriMo, but as a two-person writing thing to make it less intimidating.

And it was neat to get the story written, though I never got past a few chapters in when trying to edit it afterward. I occasionally think about doing more with it.

But your goals seem reasonable enough, and more importantly, the system you're aiming for seems good.

I have no idea on the money-making side of things, but it seems like you'll accomplish a lot regardless of whether or not you make a cent.

    Who was calling anyone names?

To be fair, I believe the initial instigator, Dr What, may have called
some folks names. Most of us have not been, though.

In the full context of this "conversation", which was the protesting of something deemed "political" - for the poster to have that "hashtag" in
his origin line, was a very political statement. Thus it was part of
the message/conversation. It's quite obvious, really.
