  • Book: Before the Big Bang

    I re-read Seveneves by Neal Stephenson, impressed yet again by his
    research that went into his science fiction. Amazon thought I should
    read a book titled "Before the Big Bang: The prehistory of our
    Universe", by Brian Clegg.

    I was expecting a read on cosmological theory, instead the first one
    third is a well-researched walk through the history of cosmology in
    ancient mythologies. Quite unexpected and very entertaining.

    I'll tell you how the rest of the book goes when I'm done.

    Have you seen the 1-season run of Moonhaven? Also.. quite an
    imagining following the aftermath "magic" [which isn't really
    explained] of some autoAI that can produce an earth-like
    environment on the moon. But the story kinda focuses on the discord/differences of moonies vs earthies.

    No, but it looks interesting - and it's on Amazon Prime. I'll have to
