    You'll need a binkd server/client setup. He scans/tosses once a day.

    Thanks Shurato :)

I have binkd... or at least I am 99% sure I do, since I use binkd to carry FSXNet, tqwNet, araknet etc etc on my board, and I'm pretty sure you have to have the binkd server port open for that, right?

    Cheers,
    Al

Yes, if you want other nodes (including your hubs) to also be able to poll
your system. The default port to open is 24554.

I am a hub for a few networks and some nodes connect here daily but have
never opened that port for me to connect to them. It means that they don't
get their mail as quickly but it doesn't actually break anything.

You would need to find a BBS that carries some of the usenet groups. I
carry a handful, most bbs related ones and a few about specific sports and hobbies. Most of them are very low traffic -- there is much more traffic
    in this echo.

Nick's BBS, Dark Realms, might offer them for caller participation, I am not sure.
