    I also somehow missed the info that the usenet gate was sunsetting. Thinking maybe I missed some messages. Thanks!

    I imagine if you have/had a lot of links for the interbbs games, it'll take a long while to filter that out. I think I took my games offline
    10+ years ago, and just this year finally stopped the hourly cronjob script that deleted all of those files if they existed. I probably kept
    it running longer than I needed to, but it wasn't harming anything here, so I kept it. ;)

    There has been some activity but my personal circumstances mean I am time poor and the effort vs reward of running it is not there for me. I need to simplify things in my life a bit at present so have shuttered it.

    There were a number of nodes that would seek to set up, and either never did after I had set up my end, or ran things for a while then would leave an not advise their node had left etc.. so admin joys to keep on top of etc etc.

    So in short no it was not dead but it equally came to a point where my view was (at present) it was not worth continuing it.

    I may seek to restart it down the track.
