I think it's okay. There are a lot of people who have struggles with mental health, and I feel like mental health might not be talked about
or addressed enough by a lot of people.

Hi Mary, I feel it's totally ok to talk about what you're going through.
I'm glad to hear you are getting help. As a fellow PTSD survivor I can
say the road is long, but in the end it's worth the journey.
If people are not classy, its usually not a good idea to hang around there.thats what i am doing i am recovering from that and advoiding those people

There's a growing need for them, finding a good one who's taking new patients is getting difficult, and I'd love to set my own hours. :)

i know kinda dark but if you got people hurting you on vrchat and
accusing thing that u did not do it would degrade your mental health alot.. especially if your parents dont help </3
thank you for listening to me <3
Yep, I am sure you would. I was saying it more generally, sometimes
people (especially those who haven't experienced it), can be a bit nasty about it.

Great, some people say there are good ways and bad ways to manage, but I say what ever way keeps you alive and through it is the good way.

I've been on anti-depressants and anti-psychotics for most of my life. Starting from when I was in high school. I moved to perth when I left highschool, by myself. Made some great friends and fell in love with a girl. She was a really beautiful person, so caring and always put others before herself, so cute and funny. I adored her. She died - suicide. I
was broken, and drank for a number of years 6 - 7 to deal with it. Most people would frown on drinking, but it got me through. My medication got increased too around that time, and actually just got reduced a bit again a month or two ago, and things are going good. Although it happened 20 years ago and I've since got married and have a son now (plus two daughters who didn't make it) and although I am happy, I still to sometimes wonder what life might have been like.
So thats my story, I say time can heal all wounds, but it doesn't erase them. There's always scars.
So yeah, keep your pact, and do what you can to keep going - life always has new things to throw at you and they aren't always bad :)

I think BBSes offer a good community for these types of discussions - we're not all up in your grille and you don't have to go through the
weird feelings of talking it out in person.
I don't have the same issues you do, but I think we all have our own... I've dealt with addiction and impulse control - and still do...
At any rate, know that theres ears and hearts in these interwebs - and vrchat can't be good for anyones mental health!!! I know PokerStars is a shit show, and thats leaps and bounds less toxic than vrchat!! :P
pa> Hope the season goes well for you - just day by day. I hope you
can pa> enjoy the season; Merry Christmas mary4!!

I am not real familiar with vrchat. There are alot of place out in the internet (social media especially) that probably are not good for people who suffer from certain mental health issues. A lot of people feel the need to not be nice, and they feel extra free to do so on social media.
There was a documentary series here in the US about high school teens and social media that dove into it a little bit. The pressue that social media puts on young people to compare their lives with others (who are,
in turn, projecting an idealized persona often lacking of reality) is
very damaging to their mental health.
