Just curious to see if anyone on here has heard of Soupy or ever tried it? A few towns from where I live, Westerly RI, is considered the soupy capital of the world. Alot of Italians live here and pretty much any of the meat packing stores carry it. Its basically a sausage, that they added salt and spices to, when done at their homes, they usually tie strings to it and hang it up in their basement for a certain amount of time. You can buy sopresatta at your local grocery store but its not really the same.

This might give you a better understanding of what it is.
