This has been a rallying cry for conservatives for so long, but...nobody on the left is advocating for laws limiting speech. In fact it's only the right that's doing so (look at how Trump sues everyone that says a bad thing about him).

I see that more as "abusing the legal system" than advocating for new laws, but I also get your point re: Trump and conservatives. That said, there were lefties advocating for persons to be removed from social media and to be silenced in other ways just because those lefties didn't like how the other party was exercising their freedom of speech.

IMHO, the powerful, and extremists, on both sides advocate against free speech.
It is not just a left or right thing.

    Same thing with "book banning."

As a teenager, (late '70's, early '80s) I used to have a t-shirt that read:

"If the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body,
then only left-handed people are in their right mind."

I throw left-handed, use a fork or spoon left-handed. When I played baseball as a kid and young adult, I batted right-handed and later learned to bat both. When doing yard work, I rake or sweep either way. But I am definately politically not a "lefty' either.

What I tend to do if someone says or writes something I don't agree with, for whaterver reason, I simply press enter or change the channel. I might even try to offer an opposing opinion. Everyone has free speech rights, but that right has responsibilities. If you yell "FIRE!" in a crowded gathering place, theatre, etc., there had better be a fire. If you do and anyone gets hurt due to this, you are responsible. There are laws against slander and libel for a reason. You have a right, but I have a right not to listen or agree.

    Sorry. Wrong message area.

I've actually never owned a left handed mouse before! I just use a regular one with the buttons in the same layout as a right handed mouse. (So "left click" is actually "right click").

I guess it's like the Jimi Hendrix mouse style! :)

I don't have a Windows computer anymore but when I did, I also liked the start menu on the top of the screen.. but I guess that's more of a carry over from Linux/Mac.

As an adult, I learned how to write a bit with my right hand for fun and one cool thing I've learned I can do with that is write with both hands at the same time. It has to be the same word/sentence/etc though.. Still a fun little trick!

I played a lot of tennis when I was younger, and learned to golf along the way. I'm left-handed, and my grandfather found me a set of left-handed clubs at a flea market. I realized a golf-swing was a forehand, except you're pointing down at the ball.

Later on, I borrowed a tall (he's 6'7", I'm 6'3") friend's custom clubs, and tried those out. Only problem was that he's right handed. I lined up to hit the ball and realized that it was just like hitting a backhand.

I went back and forth for a while, but got more power left-handed. Not that I was good enough for anything except Beer Golf...

I fully agree. But trying to tell that to people who post that stuff

There is so much bullshit in "free speech" rights when articulated by disappointed liberal globalists who tend to tell you "there is one
