    Hi Everyone,
so i just got a doorgame working.. Tradewars 2002, but its not displaying ANSI graphics properly.

Im using SyncTerm, and when im in the BBS, the graphics/ANSI displays properly but as soon as i go into tradwars, the ANSI graphics look like garbage.. Ive checked, and Font is set to CP437 in Syncterm.

I connect with putty and change encoding to utf8 and it works perfectly.

Syncterm does not seem to have the option for utf8 so what do i do.. i dont like using putty.

    thanks,
    Michael

You shouldn't need putty. Are you running this doorgame with dosemu/dosemu2 or some other kind of DOS emulator? If so, the setting would be in dosemu.conf as:

    $_internal_char_set = "cp437"
    $_external_char_set = "cp437"

I believe those settings are commented out on a new dosemu/dosemu2 install.

    Nick
