4U0ITU continues to mark the 160th anniversary of the ITU until the
end of 2025, operating from the 4U1ITU club station.

4X, 4Z, ISRAEL:
The following Israeli lighthouses will be activated during the
upcoming weekend:

Lh Jaffa (4X01LH, IL0001), Lh Stela Maris (4X02LH, IL0002), Lh
Ashold (4X03LH, IL0003), Lh Akko (4X04LH, IL0004), and Lh Tel-Aviv

The special event callsign 9A169TESLA commemorates Tesla's 169th
birthday until the end of the year.

The following callsigns celebrate Malaysia's national holiday (Aug.
31) and Malaysia Day (Sept. 16) between Aug. 15 and Sept. 30:

The Bahrain Amateur Radio Society celebrates the IARU centenary

HK, COLOMBIA:
Lothar, DK8LRF, will be back on the bands as HK3JCL between Sept. 3

I, ITALY:
ARI section Fidenza honours Marconi's memory with the following
callsigns during 2025:

II4LDMA in August II4RADS in September II4WLTX in October II4EACC

LA, NORWAY:
The special event callsigns LA100A commemorates the first amateur
radio contact between Norway and the USA in 1925. On Nov. 25 in
1925 Johannes Diesen (LA1A) conducted that first QSO with U1YB at
Dartmouth College (NH), USA.

OH, FINLAND:
OH100IARU (ops OH2BCI, OH2BH, OH2KI, OH2KM, OH2KW, OH3JR, OH5BM,
OH5BQ, and OH7GGX) continues to celebrate IARU's centenary until
the end of 2025. QSL via bureau or direct via OH3JR.

PY, BRAZIL:
PW2PF (operators Renato/PY2TIM, Lupercio/PU2TNT, Marcelo/PY2MDF,
Marcelo/PU2USM, Ronaldo/PS8RV, Alex/PY2WAS, and Marcelo/PY2AE)
activates the Porto Ferreira State Park (WWFF PYFF-0362) on Aug.
16, 17, 23, and 24.

SM, SWEDEN:
The radio club SK3GK commemorates the first radio broadcast from
the city Gaevle in 1925 until the end of the year. QSL via bureau.

SP, POLAND:
The following stations are currently active from 3 Polish
lighthouses until the 17th: SN150LHC LH Czolpino (PL-0001),
SN150LRN LH Rozewie II (PL0009), and SN130LHK LH Krynica Morska
(PL0008). QRV on 160-6m (CW, SSB, RTTY, FT8/4). An award is also

TA, TURKEY:
TC17LIGHT activates the lighthouse Cardak during the coming
weekend. QSL via bureau, LoTW, eQSL.

TA, TURKEY:
A YL team (Merzuke TA7YLY, Eva HB9FPM, Gizem TA2RAG, Zehra TA2ZEH,
Emine TA3EMN, and Ezgi TA3YL) operates as TC88YL from the club
station TC2E on Aug. 16 and 17. QSL via ClubLog, LoTW, eQSL.

TG, GUATEMALA:
Dennis, KT8X, operates holiday-style as TG4/KT8X between Aug. 16
and 23 on 40-6m on CW and digital modes. QSL via LoTW.

TY, BENIN:
IK7WUL plans to operate during his spare time as TY2AA between Aug.
18 and Sept. 7 on 20m (SSB). QSL via I8KHC, LoTW.

VE, CANADA:
CG9IARU joins the IARU celebrations until the end of the month,
operating from various POTA and WWFF locations and from historic

The special event stations ZS100SARL, ZS6SRL, and ZS9HQ celebrate
the 100th anniversary of the South African Radio League (SARL)

AS-044; R0C, SEA OF OKHOTSK COAST CENTRE group: Anton, RG0C, is
currently operating from Ptichiy (Bird Island; RR-13-30) as RG0C/p
on 20m CW with QRP power. The duration of his stay depends on
weather conditions. An additional one-day trip to Malyy Shantar in

AS-060; HL4, CHOLLA-NAMDO PROVINCE group: Chul, 6K2GRX, and Oh,
6K2CFI, sign their homecalls /4 from Jaeun Island between the 15th

AS-097; 9M2, MELAKA / JOHOR STATE WEST group: 9M4LHU will join the
Lighthouse/ship weekend from Undan Island. QSL direct via 9M2HUS.

EU-001; SV5, DODECANESE: N3JWJ operates as SV5/N3JWJ from Aug. 17
to 25 on HF (FT8). QSL via ClubLog OQRS, LoTW.

EU-002; OH0, ALAND ISLANDS: A team consisting of OH5CZ, OH5CY,
OH5YL, OH2JIU, and OH5CW is going to put Aland on the air between
the 17th and 24th with the callsign OG0C. QRV on 160m-70cm (CW,
SSB, FT8/4, MSK-144, JT65). QSL direct via OH5CW or LoTW.

EU-018; OY, FAROE ISLANDS: Michael, DM6MA, currently operates from
several spots on Faroe Islands as OY/DM6MA. QRV until Aug. 20 on
40-6m (SSB, FT8). QSL via homecall.

EU-172; OZ, JYLLAND EAST AND FYN group: Rene (DL2JRM) will be back
on the air as OV7X from Bago Island for the Lighthouse/ship
weekend.

NA-018; OX, GREENLAND:
NA-134; OX, GREENLAND'S COASTAL ISLANDS NORTH WEST: Watch out for
Markus, DL6YYM, operating as OX/DL6YYM between the 19th and 29th
from Disko Bay (OZFF-0006). Before, from the 15th to 18th he stays
on one of the NA-134 islands. QSL via homecall.

NA-031; W1, RHODE ISLAND STATE group: A group (AF1T, W1MKY, WG3K,
KI4IWS, KC3UJB) activates Block Island between Aug. 11 and 24 on
80-10m (CW, SSB, FT8).

OC-009; T8, PALAU ISLANDS: T88GF (op JH6GFY) and JK6DXD (op T88XD)
will be active from Palau between Aug. 18 and 22. QSL via homecalls
or LoTW.

OC-017; T30, GILBERT ISLANDS: The T30TTT team is scaling down their
operating right now due to work commitments. They will remain on
the island, however, until mid-September and plan to focus more on
CW operating, also on the low bands.

SA-001; CE0, EASTER ISLAND: Cesar, CE7TI, operates as 3G0YT until
Aug. 15. QRV mostly on 20 and 10m (SSB, FT8), also from POTA
locations. QSL only via CE7TI.

SA-001; CE0, EASTER ISLAND: Jorge, CE0YHF, remains on the air until

SA-100P; CE1, ARICA Y PARINACOTA / TARAPACA REGION group: VE3LYC,
