Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and Supreme Court cases
dealing with citizen rights.

--NRA, 2nd Amendment, Gadsden flag, military (Marines, Army, etc.)
stickers on their vehicles

--A person who has a copy of the Constitution on his/her person.

--Insistence on forcing the police to abide by the 4th and 5th
Amendments. (i.e., will not answer police questions, will not
give consent to search vehicle, demand police get warrants, etc.)

So according to DHS, merely knowing your rights and exercising them is an indicator that you're a 'domestic extremist', especially if you also have served your country in the military and have an Army sticker in your window.

I didn't see those particular podcasts but I'm aware of the issue. Their recruiting is WAY down. Not only that, they are planning an exercise
next year to test their ability to recall retired and reserve members;
they won't admit it in so many words but they appear to be trying to
quantify how many would actually turn up and what shape they're in! A
lot of the men in those categories are not planning to turn up either
since it might mean fighting for a government that is destroying the
country. Meanwhile, they're cancelling major exercises because of the
cost. Of the 88 million pounds they gave to the Palestinians, at least
30 million of that got skimmed off the budget for their military. Mark
Felton, who is overtly NON-political, has done a number of videos
lamenting the appalling state of the British armed forces, particularly
the once might British Navy which has more admirals than capital ships
with most of that navy in drydock undergoing major refits of one kind or another.

But everything is absolutely fine: just ask the government!
