We've gone a VERY long way from the days of WWI when a lone village
constable, unarmed beyond a baton, came upon 20 German airmen who had
crashed in the English countryside when their zeppelin failed. The
constable SINGLEHANDEDLY arrested them and, having only a bicycle,
marched them all several miles to the nearest lockup. (Of course this
says something about the character of the Germans too. I would imagine a similar number of Somalis would gang rape the constable then beat him to
death rather than cooperate.)
