Good grief!!! Sounds like this should be a silly April Fools joke. :-\
Then again, an animated animal comedy is the ONLY "Survivor" show that
would ever come even remotely close to being worth watching.

'Survivor' Animated Movie in the Works From Paramount Animation,
    Jeff Probst to Exec Produce
    ----------------------------------------------------------------
The tribe has spoken - and it wants an animated "Survivor" movie
featuring animal contestants. Paramount Animation, in partnership
with CBS, is in development on an animated comedy based on CBS'
long-running "Survivor," with host Jeff Probst executive
    producing.

The official synopsis reads: "Set on a remote and mystical island,
animals from all around the globe compete for a once-in-a-lifetime
chance to be crowned the sole Survivor."

"I'm so excited to be teaming up with Paramount Animation to bring
you Survivor like you've never seen it before...in the animal
kingdom!," Probst wrote on his Instagram. "This will be an all-out
comedy with animals competing for the chance to be crowned the
    sole Survivor. Let's go!!!!"

"Setting it in the world of animals give us a whole new
playground," Probst said in his video. "It's still everything we
love about 'Survivor' - big personalities, funny characters,
surprising alliances, competition, chaos - and of course a lot of
heart - but this time, the players aren't human."

Jennifer Dodge, who was named president of Paramount Animation in
November, oversees the division that recently announced Christmas
film "The Naughty List" from Robert Rodriguez. Rodriguez has been
developing the concept for more than a decade, based on drawings
and stories created with and for his children. Dodge was previously
president of "PAW Patrol" producers Spin Master, overseeing
    development, production and global distribution.

Paramount Animation's "PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie" releases on
    Aug. 14.

Hosted by five-time Emmy winner Probst, "Survivor," from Banijay
and Amazon MGM, is currently in production in Fiji for a fall
broadcast on CBS. The series made its debut in 2000 and recently
concluded its 50th season with the most-watched finale since 2020.
In the live finale, New Hampshire native Aubry Bracco was crowned
the 50th season Sole Survivor with a $2 million prize.
