    An animated version of Firefly is in early development with Nathan
    Fillion behind the effort.

    Of course that doesn't mean it will ever appear on your TV screen since
    many ideas fail to get picked up. Still, I know there are plenty of
    Firefly fans out there so I thought you ought to know about this.

    Probably won't be till 2028 if they can even find a service willing to
    bankroll it. Hulu/Disney would seem the logical place since they own the rights to Firefly. That doesn't mean much though since Hulu canceled the
    Buffy reboot after bankrolling a pilot.
    I'm not big on animated shows but would give it a shot. I'll believe it
    when I see it.

    That sounds like a bad idea, but these plans have been dropped.
