I watched:
THE BENNY HILL SHOW
I remember this show being much funnier as a pre-teen, but there were
some clever bits nonetheless, like him playing a German TV show host
who briefly morphed into Hitler (via 1970's technology) before catching himself and reverting to his meek self and making clever malmorphs.
Whenever I've seen this show, I've been relieved when the skit was
anything other than Hill sexually harassing someone.
What did you watch?
I watched Star Trek Continues s1e03, "Fairest of Them All." We're in the mirror universe, and we see the usual crew taking their leave of Mirror
Spock. Mirror Spock considers the words of Regular Kirk, tries to make
some changes within the system and ends up stepping outside it.
This one was *good*. Vic Mignogna, who plays Captain Kirk, carried most
of it on his back. It's important to pay attention, as loyalties keep shifting. There's one segment where Mirror Uhura has switched
allegiances but nobody else in the room knows it, so be alert.
I appreciated the pun in the title -- it's a mirror reference, sure, but
more specifically it's the end of what "Mirror, Mirror" begins, and it's
also a reference to the unfairness of the Imperial system.
I also watched the first episode of Wonder Man, a Disney Plus show now available on Hulu. It features two actors at different ends of their
careers angling for roles in a new superhero movie. I didn't get into
this. The premise worked pretty well, but I found the protagonist
unlikeable. I don't want to watch more of that guy.
What did everyone else watch?
