?Breaking Bad? star Giancarlo Esposito said it?s time for the American
people to stage a ?revolution,? which he anticipates would be worth the
?500 or 50 million? deaths.

?This is time for a revolution, it?s time for it, and they don?t even
know that?s what they?re starting,? the actor told Variety on Tuesday
night at the Sundance Film Festival. ?Some very rich old white men are exerting their power to suppress our own people, thus creating a
feeling of civil war in the streets, preparing the haters to hate,
teaching them how to shoot,? he went on. ?They?re not even trained
right. To kill.?

?This is all a preparation for a very insidious problem that?s
happening in our world,? Esposito went on. ?And for me, I have to speak
out. We will not be ICE?d out. This is not going to happen.?

The actor was there promoting his film ?The Only Living Pickpocket in
New York.? Hollywood celebrities have become increasingly vocal about
their criticism of ICE operations in Minneapolis, with several saying
as much during interviews and wearing ?Be Good? and ?ICE OUT? pins to
events such as Sundance.

?They can?t take us all down. If the whole world showed up on Putin?s
doorstep or the Iranians? doorstep or in Washington ? they?ll kill 500,
50 million or however [many], but the rest of us would survive with a
new [world].?

Most celebrities aren?t outright calling for a violent revolution, but
most are stopping just shy of saying as much. Natalie Portman recently
shared her mixed feelings about being an American. ?I could not be
prouder to be American right now by the way the Americans are acting,?
the actress told Variety earlier this week. ?And I could not be sadder
to be American right now with the way the government is behaving.?

?Don?t Worry Darling? actress Olivia Wilde also weighed in, indicating
that ICE is a criminal organization.

?We can?t go another day accepting this as our new norm. It?s
outrageous. People are being murdered, and I don?t want to normalize
seeing that violence?on the internet or on film. It?s hideous. If we
can do anything to support the movement to cast ICE out and
delegitimize this criminal organization, then that?s what we should be
doing,? she said during Sundance.
