After an arduous workout, I watched:
Nothing.
What did you watch?
I watched "The Language Sounds That Could Exist, But Don't," from Tom
Scott.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uZam0ubq-Y
This was a little shallower than I was hoping. He essentially just
looked at the holes in the IPA chart. It was okay, though.
I also watched another Bored to Death. If that show were made today, he
might be in trouble for refusing to let his ex go. She doesn't seem to
find his attention unwelcome, though. She clearly still cares about him.
The main obstacle is that she believes he's an addict, while he believes
that she's oversensitive to partying because her father was an
alcoholic.
The show is definitely leaning towards her being correct. It'll be
interesting to see how they handle that without some dreary, preachy arc
where he cleans up. That would ruin the show, but they're going to have
to address this one way or another eventually.
What did everyone else watch?
