Huh. Spanish courts have asserted worldwide jurisdiction over all manner
of crimes not committed in Spain. However, prosecutors are declining to
charge Julio Iglesias with sexual crimes and human trafficking. Two
women, his employees at the time, claimed they were victims in incidents
in Dominican Republic and the Bahamas in 2021. They made their
complaints in Spanish court.
I have no idea what was going on. The allegations were crimes I've never
heard of, sexual freedom and sexual harassment. That ain't assault. The
human trafficking sounds like... a wages and hours dispute.
He would have been 77 at the time. The women couldn't have gotten away?
Really?
