Frosty is special because of Jimmy Durante, his last commercial project. Otherwise I never that it was all that great.
The Wikipedia article says that the voices of the children were recast
after the initial airing. Some dissatisfaction with June Foray? I've
never heard of any voice recasting after the initial airing, or of a
movie after its initial distribution. Bizarre.

It happens in animation all the time. They get back the crap from Asia and don?t have time to change it and meet the airing deadline, but they make
them do it again anyway for the reruns. I?ve worked on programs where they actually did it three times. I don?t know if that?s the record or not.
