First, they've definitely had budget cuts.
Just about all the supporting cast members
are gone. Renee is still there and he's
got a computer geek on speed dial, butthe
others have disappeared.

New character (or rather, upgraded previous one).
His brother... joins him in today's mis-adventure.

Plot: A dad hires him because his ex-wife and their
shared daughter didn't show to a custody handover.

spoiler: mom had run off because Really Bad People
had kidnapped daughter and forced her to do ugly stuff.

ninety percent of the script was predictable.

Warning: there's some sort of Evil Group in
charge and it looks like this will be a
continuing arc. Ugggggggh.

I'll probably watch next week but I've got
a bad feeling about this.

And in the continuing continuing story arc, we still have no explanation
for all of the lies in the mother's story in the backstory, now that the brother's backstory has been retconned. Again, why was it necessary to
let Tracker believe that his brother murdered their father? Some evil
men months earlier explains nothing.

The woman that was working with Renee didn't seem to serve
much purpose last season other than to make it seem like
Renee wasn't running a one woman shop. Even though she was.

Yeah, I'm not happy about it, but it was obvious they were going to
continue the story once they introduced this "Process" idea.

I'll probably watch next week but I've got
