I watched:
BRAVO'S TOXIC WORK CULTURE, AND ANDY COHEN'S TROUBLING COMPLACENCY:
Maureen Callahan exposes Bravo's disturbing pattern of toxic behavior, from Brittany Cartwright's domestic violence at the hands of Jax Taylor, to "Below
Deck Down Under" stars caught on camera attempting to sexually assault cast members, to questions about Andy Cohen's role in driving and enabling these storylines, and more.

NEW Mini Nerve: Bill Maher and Drew Barrymore's Bizarrely Flirtatious and Nonsensical Conversation:
This week's bonus edition of The Nerve zeroes in on the interaction
between Bill Maher and Drew Barrymore on a recent episode of Bill's
podcast, "Club Random." Maureen was both shocked and disgusted to
watch their mutual affection, as they gassed each other up in a two-hour meandering discussion that focused heavily on love, loneliness, lust,
and loathing. She also slams Bill for his unnecessary vulgarity around Drew's sexual attractiveness and for his negative (and repetitive) proclamations about relationships, kids, and women. https://youtu.be/x8YaEwpXG0I?si=1yJWVWv5tJHEXY8w

This must be a week-long catch-up here. I had a very busy work week, so
all I've gotten through is soaps, and one movie:
soaps: DOOL - M-Th ep's. Johnny's trial continues. EJ gets Johnny to
expose on the stand that EJ and opposing counsel Belle are in a
relationship which torches their affair and now Belle wants nothing to
do with EJ (ha!). EJ has another hypnosis session with Marlena and
remembers that his shooter was a "woman" - Marlena seems to have figured
out who EJ's shooter is, but the show is playing coy as to whether
Marlena thinks Belle did it (which is what EJ now suspects) or whether Marlena has figured out that NuRachel did it and is trying to keep quiet about this to protect Rachel... Sarah is every bit as bad as Xander, slapping him for "sleeping" with Gwen (which he didn't do) - Xander now wants nothing to do with Gwen after she lied to Sarah about sleeping
with him... I think NuSophia (whom I still don't like - but I can see
why they didn't take OldSophia into this storyline as she's too good for it!) is starting to crack up. Tate and Holly do the "nookie" again, and
are caught in flagrante by Belle.
GH - M-Th ep's. Willow definitely seems to be cracking up - Lucas is
a total asshole to her, and Willow loses it, slapping Lucas! at work!! Lizzie immediately sends Willow home, and Willow is lucky that Lucas is
too much of a wuss to take this to HR. Marco warns Jenz Sidwell that
Willow is losing it and that he better advance his plan to use the
custody thing against Sonny soon or it will be too late... Joss and
Vaughn get to Croatia where... as expected, Joss discovers that Britt is alive! (without being seen by Britt), and tells Vaughn who she is. Meanwhile, Anna sends Jason off to Croatia to track Britt down. (What's going to happen when Jason runs across Joss!!)... Drew continues to be a major asshole, wanting Danny arrested for kidnapping over nothing, and
then telling Alexis that he intends to make sure his daughter Scout
never sees Sam's family (so this will force Alexis to sue for
custody)... I don't think anything else important really happened.
Y&R - Audra pathetically is still trying to cause problems for Kyle
and Claire, to get back into Victor's good graces(?), which at this
point just comes off as weak and desperate. There was also more Cane
Ashby drama. And Daniel seems to be falling for Tessa (gee - who didn't
see this coming?!).
B&B - More fallout from the exposure of Liam's brain tumor con. And Sheila discovers that cute but EVOL! Luna is recuperating due to the
efforts of the doctor aunt, and I think they agree to keep it all a
secret. Crazy Luna wakes up, and is dreaming about the young guy on the
soap (Will?), who is dissatisfied that the pretty ingenue (Electra?)
he's with won't put out for him (which Luna will have no problem doing!!).
I may have also gotten through an episode (ep. #1.8?) of "Shifting
Gears" this week - if I did, it was the "parent's job show-and-tell at school" one where the daughter is embarrassed by Kat Dennings' job. It
was a mediocre episode.
The Pickup (Prime) - Generally satisfactory action comedy crime caper starring Eddie Murphy(!), Pete Davidson, and Keke Palmer. I would say
the one part about this flick that I didn't like was Eva Longoria as Murphy's in-movie wife... But otherwise this was enjoyable, including
Andrew Dice Clay as the asshole boss of the armored car company.
Quick gist: Two armored car guards (Murphy and Davidson) get
targeted for a heist and have to fight their way out of it.
This wasn't deep, but it was mostly enjoyable. Not sure I cared for
the ending, though.

Have you heard of "Dark Woke"? I just heard about it yesterday.
Apparently they want to appear stronger and more forceful, as part of
trying to win men back.
I also watched more Star Trek: Lower Decks.
S4.E6 ? Parth Ferengi's Heart Place: It's the gang's actual job to >investigate the bars and restaurants of the Ferengi homeworld. Two of
them must pose as newlyweds.
S4.E7 ? A Few Badgeys More: Agimus, Badgey, and Peanut Hamper all
return.
S4.E8 ? Caves: The gang retell stories of adventures they had
separately, then bond.
S4.E9 ? The Inner Fight: Captain Freeman wants to send LJG Mariner on a
very safe mission.

Oh, I've know about it for quite awhile. It was pretty sad, actually.

I just looked at a little, and what I saw was surprisingly regressive.
E.g., a woman points out that a trans woman doesn't pass, and they
respond by making fun of her looks... allegedly to teach her a lesson
about her own bogus beauty standards, but really to tear her down and
shut her up.
