Hey, thanks for asking!

that they had actually charged my card for the next month a week ago so if
I take it in now, I’ll just lose $300.
So the stuff that I watched or downloaded a copy of or just dumped
includes:
THE SEA CHASE (TCM) John Wayne technicolor Cinemascope submarines
CAPTAIN SINDBAD (not only is that how it’s spelled but spiel Chuck likes >that spelling) starring Guy Williams
BANDOLERO! Another cinema scope feature with Jimmy Stewart, and Dean Martin >and Raquel Welch. Note that spiel Chuck has forgotten how to spell >Cinemascope.
Half a dozen (each) favorite episodes of THE TIME TUNNEL and THE INVADERS, >both of which series I have on disc anyway.
A few straggling episodes of the “documentary“ series SECRETS IN THE ICE.
And finally, the big one
John Wayne and Vincent Price together again for the first time in:
THE CONQUEROR WORM!
Just kidding. It was the Cinemascope technicolor classic starring John
Wayne and Susan Hayward THE CONQUEROR, the radioactive film that killed
damn everybody in its cast. Not that they wouldn’t have died of humiliation >anyway. I enjoy John Wayne, but boy Howdy whoever thought this was a good
fit for him, probably ended up hiding in a hotel room, saving his
fingernail clippings.

Sheesh.. I had no idea it was that bad. From the Wikipedia:
Of the 220 crew members, 91 (comprising 41% of the crew) developed
cancer by 1980, while 46 (or 21%) died from it. When this was learned,
many suspected that filming in Utah and surrounding locations, near
nuclear test sites, was to blame.
91 people developing cancer out of 220 after just 24 years. Yeah,
that's pretty damning evidence of a connection to the film sites.

You see this kind of shit all the time and it makes no sense. How does the >manager of the local Mexican food place know who his customers voted for? >Unless a guy walks in wearing a red MAGA hat, how would a Trump voter be >banned from anywhere?

Not sure if you read the worst part, but after they were done filming on >location, they gathered up tons of possibly radioactive sand and trucked it >back to Los Angeles, so that the soundstage floors would match the
location.

People say stupid things in the hope that someone will tune in. I saw a
TV ad for this "I've Had It" podcast, and it looked like two women >complaining about everything and nothing. They'd go away if we all
ignored them, but we won't.
Out of nostalgia, I also watched some Star Trek: The Animated Series.
It's cheesy, but it's still earnest. Shows had more heart in those days. >DeForest Kelly seemed a little uncomfortable with voice acting in the
first episodes, but he got the hang of it.

I saw the commercials a LOT on Pluto TV until recently (Hmmm)
and it looked vaguely interesting until I looked it up and
nearly all eps were TDS rants. No thanks!

The producers of that cartoon cut a lot of corners!

That was where I saw it. I suppose ad time on Pluto is pretty cheap.

LOL, yes, yes they did.
ST:TAS deserves a special place because it's the basis for all those >fan-made Star Trek episodes on YouTube. I watched one, and it wasn't

care about it.
