Are you following any of the live coverage of this? I'm checking on it
now. His main defense seems to be that he was drunk.
I guess he has to say something.
A two day catchup.
Over the weekend I had to order something from Amazon and needed it the
next day. The only way to get it next day was to sign up for a free
month of Prime. I _REALLY_ needed this item so....
On Monday I figured since I had Prime and a new super fast fiberoptic internet connection I'd see what shows Prime had. Thought for a few
minutes and decided I was interested in 'The Boys'. So Monday and
Tuesday evenings I watched the first three episodes.
This is not your daddy's Superman *ahem* I mean Homelander. And I
suspect these first few episodes kept a fake blood factory in
production. This is definitely a universe where most of the metahumans really need to die. I'll keep watching in the hope of seeing that.

This show is cynical.
Homelander (Antony Starr) is one of tv's greatest villains. I'd rank him
with Adebisi (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) on Oz and Stringer Bell (Idris
Elba) on The Wire. As Lucas Hood on Banshee, Starr was ridiculously
laconic. On this show, damn, he holds his face in a certain way. His
mouth is crooked, his lips are thin. It's incredible.
But no Emmys are given for good acting.

I was unable to follow it at work but caught up in the evening.

And "I didn't make those deepfake videos!"
Johny Salami is doomed as doomed can be!

Apparently he admits to distributing them but not to making them. In
South Korea, the distribution is the main crime. Does his lawyer hate
him, too?
