The day my cable and Internet were fixed, I watched:

    WE ARE THE 80'S

    WE ARE THE 80'S

    WE ARE THE 80'S

DUMPED: WHY HOWARD STERN IS TALK RADIO'S BIGGEST FRAUD OF ALL-TIME:
Jason Whitlock exposes the truth behind the man who "carried" SiriusXM
for nearly 20 years and why Howard Stern was finally canceled now. https://youtu.be/Hwhr4XDpm0Y?si=lzAL_SBXbqNi1GVX

JOE ROGAN ON THE DEMOCRATS FUNDING NPR: https://youtu.be/d-FC0GM-D1E?si=l85NUzlZ7RecFmfT

HER TEACHER SAYS HEXAGONAL PYRAMIDS HAVE RECTANGLES:
When asked how many rectangular faces a hexagonal pyramid has, this man's niece replied "0". This is the correct answer, but the teacher said a hexagonal pyramid has 6 rectangular faces. Maybe she thought the question was about triangular faces? Or maybe hexagonal prisms? When pushed about her answer, the teacher apparently doubled down and offered a nonsensical explanation. We discuss this recent development from r/askmath. #askreddit #maths #mathmemes

MRBEAST'S BAD KARMA HAS FINALLY ARRIVED…:

MrBeast's so-called "unstoppable" streak might finally be over… As
controversy swirls around his involvement with the Lunchly scam and
questions about his association with Logan Paul's shady business moves,
fans are starting to ask if MrBeast's good guy image is cracking.

In this video, we break down the timeline of events - from the
suspicious Lunchly partnership to Logan Paul's history with
failed projects - and how they're both tied together in a way
that could damage MrBeast's reputation. Is this the bad karma
people have been predicting for years? Or will MrBeast somehow
    escape the backlash again?

Stay tuned as we uncover the truth, reactions from the online community, and what this means for MrBeast's brand moving forward.

The TEA Jabba the Hutt deems you unworthy. https://youtu.be/4SNhBzdXhqE?si=Nf4p9mKBxhsUvcrq

    BLACK SUNDAY:
While being burnt at the stake, the witch Asa Vajda vows to enact revenge on her descendents. Hundreds of years later Asa returns to life and immediately raises her henchmen from the dead, ready to keep her promise.

    LIFE, LIBERTY AND LEVIN:
Fox News host Mark Levin gives his take on the House Oversight Committee investigating former President Joe Biden's use of the autopen while in office

    FAMILY GUY:
"Twain's World". In an effort to improve his writing, Brian convinces Stewie to go back in time and bring Mark Twain to the present day, but the plan goes awry when Twain overindulges in pornography.

They lost me when Mark Twain appeared. This may be a UO, but I don't like
Mark Twain's writing and why is he always depicted as an asshole? Is this based on something? Did you know Brian is a terrible writer and a hack? The reaction to him plagiarizing Huck Finn was predictable but it was funny that no one, not even the literature teacher, recognized it. Loved the running Bud Lite gag, but it's a bit late, is it not?

    What did you watch?

I recently decided I was completely over Family Guy. This episode sounds
like I made the right decision.

    Loved the running Bud
Lite gag, but it's a bit late, is it not?

It's definitely late. Bud Lite has worked pretty hard to win its
market's favor back. They know they did wrong; they've practically
    grovelled.

    What did you watch?

I watched a lot more Star Trek: Lower Decks.

S1.E9 ? Crisis Point: Everyone's pulled into a movie version of the
ship, created by Boimler and promptly hijacked by Mariner.

S1.E10 ? No Small Parts: A small mission turns big, and an old foe has
gotten a lot tougher. Jonathan Frakes turns up as Captain Will Riker.

S2.E1 ? Strange Energies: Every Trek viewer knows how dangerous strange energies are. They can give you godlike powers and make you tell a
    little too much truth.

S2.E2 ? Kayshon, His Eyes Open: A new ensign joins the Cerritos, while Boimler's life on the Titan stays exciting.

S2.E3 ? We'll Always Have Tom Paris: This one had a lot of in-jokes. I
like that the main Trek crews are celebrities in this world. Makes
    sense.

S2.E4 ? Mugato, Gumato: The Cerritos is dispatched to investigate a
    mugato sighting.

S2.E5 ? An Embarrassment of Dooplers: Dooplers duplicate themselves when embarrassed. This one's insecure.

S2.E6 ? The Spy Humongous: The Cerritos has a spy on board, sort of.

I really need to quit ripping through these so quickly.

A couple of Rockford Files reunion movies on GET who apparently run

I've never understood this crap. This was a filmed series although I
have no idea if it was edited on film or video; was video editing
available this early? You make the video transfer. Were these
deliberately downgraded to a 480p or NTSC master, or was there a best
video transfer made from which 480p or NTSC was made? We're not talking
about the days of shipping 16mm prints to tv stations any more.

I don't get this crap about the need to redo video transfers every 10
years or so. Technology hasn't changed.

Furthermore, if the video transfer exceeds what the station is able to broadcast, give them the best available video and let them perform the downscale themselves.

I love how 16mm prints were the superior technology for distributing tv episodes for second run syndicstion.

I watched more Star Trek: Lower Decks. One of the things I'm enjoying so
much is that the showrunners clearly *like* Star Trek. They have fun
with its foibles, but the underlying affection shines through in every episode.

S2.E7 ? Where Pleasant Fountains Lie: Mariner, Boimler, and an evil
computer are trapped on a planet.

S2.E8 ? I, Excretus: A consultant makes the bridge crew swap duties with
    the lower decks crew.

S2.E9 ? Wej Duj: A battle, and we also see the lower decks in some other fleets. Boimler is thrown a bone at the end, which made me smile.

S2.E10 ? First First Contact: This was awesome. Killer season finale.
Can the humble Cerritos save the mighty Archimedes and salvage this
disastrous first contact attempt? They're going to try, at any rate,
despite all the other problems popping up along the way.

I also watched some more Married... With Children reruns. Those probably aren't worth listing separately. I do recommend the early years to
anyone who enjoys humor at the expense of ridiculous people.

Oh, I don't expect or want an explicit apology. That never mollifies
anyone. Correcting course and living it down was the right approach,
    IMO.

Did you catch any of Brett Cooper's new podcast? Her first episode had

should be willing to let people learn. Given her recent grief with the

She mentioned the Bud Lite thing, among others.
