    ˙˙˙˙Broadcast and cable:

The Librarians: The Next Chapter˙˙˙˙˙˙ (season 1 finale; renewed for
    season 2)˙˙˙˙˙˙˙ (9 pm, TNT)

Will I ever find the time to watch season #1?!!...

If you’d like, I could probably cull four episodes worth watching.

    ˙˙˙˙˙˙˙ Tuesday, August 5

Titans: The Rise of Hollywood˙˙˙˙˙ [new; complete limited series] ˙(3:01
    am, Netflix)

The story of immigrants who founded first Hollywood studios.˙ Six
episodes. 2022 series also available on Tubi.

Love Life˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙ (complete seasons 1 and 2)˙˙˙˙˙˙ (3:01 am, Netflix)

HBO Max series that streamed in 2021 and 2022; the series follows a
different person each season from their first romance until their last
romance and "how the people we're with along the way make us into who we
are when we finally end up with someone forever." Canceled after two
seasons and removed from HBO Max. 35-minute episodes; also available on
    Tubi.

Wow - Netflix is really scrambling for content if they're going after
stuff that's already available for free on Tubi!

    ˙˙˙˙˙˙˙ Wednesday, August 6

    ˙˙˙˙Streaming:

    The Pickup˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙ (movie)˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙ (12:01 am, Prime Video)

Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson play armored truck drivers who are
ambushed by a group of criminals led by Keke Palmer in Amazon's
straight-to-streaming action-comedy from director Tim Story
(Barbershop). Eva Longoria, Andrew Dice Clay, and Marshawn Lynch also
    star. 1h 34m.

I may eventually get to this (assuming I can find the time).

I stumbled on it and turned it off. About five minutes later for being
poorly made. Had I realized it was Tim Story I wouldn’t have even given it that long.

    Wednesday˙˙˙˙˙˙ (season 2 premiere)˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙ (3:01 am, Netflix)

The first four episodes ("part 1") are released today; the remaining
four ("part 2") will be released on Sept. 3. Already renewed for season 3.

    Already covered by Anim!

Only episode one, and spoiler free.

    ˙˙˙˙˙˙˙ Thursday, August 7

    ˙˙˙˙Streaming:

The Monkey˙˙˙˙˙˙ (movie; streaming premiere)˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙ (12:01 am, Hulu)

Normani, Dominique Thorne, Jack Champion, and Tom Hanks.

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt21942598/

I noticed this on HBO Max, and couldn't figure out what it was about...

    am, Shudder/AMC+)

A fading midwestern town in which Frendo the clown, a symbol of bygone
success, reemerges as a terrifying scourge. 1h 36m.

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt23060698/
    [rating 5.6]

Another one I stumbled across and thought about - starring Katie Douglas
is a strong point in its favor, so I will probably try to get to it.

    ˙˙˙˙Broadcast and cable:

Secrets to Kill For˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙ (movie)˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙ (8 pm, LMN)

When Shanice, a successful, city-dwelling lifestyle blogger, learns that

join in the search. At first, she suspects June’s jilted boyfriend is
involved. Stars Courtney Grace, Malena Cunningham Anderson, Aria Celeste
    Castillo, and Brashaad Mayweather.

    I skipped this.

Outlander: Blood of My Blood˙˙˙˙˙˙ [new]˙˙˙˙ (8 pm, Starz)

The "Outlander" prequel series explores the relationships of two
couples: Claire's parents, Julia Moriston (Hermione Corfield) and Henry

MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) and Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) in 18th century
Scotland. Ten episodes running through Oct. 10; already renewed for
    season 2.

    If I got Starz,

    NOBODY GETS STARZ!!!

I would probably watch this for Corfield, and Slater who
    looks like a total cutie.

    ˙˙˙˙˙˙˙ Saturday, August 9

This sounded so familiar to me, I felt like I must have seen it before, after racking my brain and multiple internet searches, I realized it was a horror novel I read a couple years ago:

Looks like the author has penned two sequels since then, too:

I remember it as being a slick little horror novel in the genre of 80s slasher movies, with enough independent creativity to make more than just a retread of Freddy and Jason. I'll be interested to see the movie version.

I don't know how she's doing these days, but 10 years ago Jessica Lowndes was quite a biscuit. I even let her (and her 90210 co-star Jessica Stroup) use my restroom when they were shooting an episode on my block in front of my house.
