Cathy Mitchell sold us the Turbo Cooker, the Eat This book, and dump cakes -- and I have... thoughts.

These infomercials from the 90s were somehow unhinged and iconic at the same time. Let’s discuss.

The godfather of productions of this genre is Santo Gold. Is it an
infomercial? Is it a trailer for an alien/wrestling/horror/gore/comedy
movie that's never coming to a theater near you? Is it an ad for
cheap/cheesy shiny "gold" jewelry? Is it offering a scam business
opportunity of selling cheesy "gold" jewelry? Does it feature cheesy
"singer" Santo Gold singing the Santo Gold theme song? The answer is
    most definitely yes!

Thanks to YouTube, we can be assured that this production actually
existed and is not the hazy memory of a drunken fever dream or the
result of a traumatic head injury.
