with one German in particular who has enhanced strength thanks to taking
a super soldier serum. The movie ends with the American Captain saving
the day by capturing and flying off in an enemy airplane full of weapons
of mass destruction. I just love original ideas in movies.
Wonder Woman 1984 (4K disc) 2020 sequel set in 1984, directed by Patty Jenkins, which has Wonder Woman trying to stop Maxwell Lord (Pedro
Pascal) from using a magic rock to grant everyone's wishes; wishes that
have a monkey's paw affect that Lord twists to his advantage. Wonder
Woman must also do battle against Cheetah (Kristen Wiig) who thanks to a wish is now able to go up against Wonder Woman. The American Captain

Steel who after secretly living on Earth for 33 years discovers he's not alone in the universe and his people, lead by General Zod (Michael

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (4K disc) 2016 sequel which picks up where "Man of Steel" ended with Batman (Ben Affleck) out for revenge
against Superman (Henry Cavill) for the destruction caused in the
previous movie. Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) also shows up to lend a hand

What's his end goal there? When Superman does eventually confront
Batman, he *knows* it's a setup, yet for no reason I can figure out, Superman proceeds to toss Batman around like a rag doll while
halfheartedly saying they need to talk. Then he's surprised when Batman won't listen. Why would Batman listen to him we he's knocking him

From a TV series standpoint, I suspect this development will be

Ep. 2.3 is the aftermath of ep. #2.2, and it ends up with Ellie and
her new (girl?)friend going off on a revenge! REVENGE!! mission on their own. The problem is, 1) this is not likely to be very interesting, esp.
'cos they're likely to draw it out; and, 2) they are now introducing a
bunch of new elements that I don't like and don't care about. Again, I'm sure all of this from the second video game - if so, I now have a lot

Just 4 more episodes to go - I may try to finish this show out today.

think Nina talked Drew out of doing anything. Michael seems less down on Willow after she delivered his and Sasha's baby - at the end, they

The rest of this was Natalia or Sonny stuff, which I don't care about... Cody spends some after work time with NuNuNuMolly (who is probably my favorite Molly, though I also liked NuMolly (2 Mollys ago) a lot too),

golf - The Canadian Open went to a 4-hole playoff this year. In the end, Kiwi Ryan Fox hit a perfect approach shot on the fourth attempt at the
par-5 18th hole, while American Sam Burns flubbed his approach to the

Just 4 more episodes to go - I may try to finish this show out today.
On the positive side, Pedro Pascal is no longer on the show.
Quip number one: if only you can say the same of the mandolin.
Quip number two: dammit I thought you were going to say planet Janet.

Quip number three: that's fantastic!

The Last of Us (Max) - Ep's #2.1-2.3.
Ep. #2.1 was slow, and was mostly set up.
Ep. #2.2 was a barn-burner - very likely to be the best episode of
season #2. Lots happens. But the ending is pretty much a disaster for >>>>> the series. I'm guessing this development is straight out of the second >>>>> video game, and if so I now understand why the second video game is so >>>>> divisive among the game's fandom.
From a TV series standpoint, I suspect this development will be
fatal, however.
Ep. 2.3 is the aftermath of ep. #2.2, and it ends up with Ellie and >>>>> her new (girl?)friend going off on a revenge! REVENGE!! mission on their >>>>> own.
