I just ran across an article that mentioned some of the works[1] that
entered public domain in the U.S. as of Jan 1:

The only SF work mentioned here is Stapledon's Last and First Men.
Also entering: Agatha Christie's first novel that features Miss Marple
(The Murder at the Vicarage), and the first four Nancy Drew books have
also entered.
So feel free to get those Marple-Drew crossovers going folks!
