2020: Boris Johnson proposes an unbuildable bridge between Scotland
and Ireland, Universal Credit successfully sends stress levels soaring,
and the Tories handle Covid as skilfully as they did Brexit.

Which 2020 Clarke Award Finalists Have You Read?
The Old Drift by Namwali Serpell
A Memory Called Empire by Arkady Martine
Cage of Souls by Adrian Tchaikovsky
The City in the Middle of the Night by Charlie Jane Anders

    I have read the Martine.

A Memory Called Empire and The Light Brigade. I doubt very much that it
was in 2020 though as I'm rarely been buying new (unless on sale) for
    the last few years.

A Memory Called Empire by Arkady Martine.
5 stars. Absolutely brilliant intrigue fronted by a perfect fish out of
water. AI run city, fascinating social hierarchies and more.

The City in the Middle of the Night by Charlie Jane Anders.
    3 stars. I enjoyed it.

The Light Brigade by Kameron Hurley.
4 stars. Begins as a standard ?shape the new recruit? exposition of
dystopic social background, technology and attitudes but improves with a
twist. Involves Corporate wars and time shifting.
