IIRC, in 'The Nine Billion Names of God', the engineer worries about the
availability of power for the computer they're installing, but is
assured that there's plenty, since they have a generator to run the

Oddly, I once set up a project that iterated through 2^64 items. This is
so much larger than 9 billion that I expect a mapping could have been
created between every name and at least one of the items.
Luckily, the stars still shine...
Was this more than 8 years ago? Because, if it was more recent, perhaps
the event wave that Alpha Centauri has gone out hasn't reached us yet
(note that the event wave that all the names had been named would still
be going through nearby stars.
