    I understand that back in the days of the Founding Fathers America
    financed itself almost entirely by tariffs and other direct taxes.

    That said just because they did things that way in the first 100 years
    of America shouldn't mean we should do things that way now. That
    WASN'T what made America great so shouldn't be part of making America
    great again even if that was more than just a campaign slogan.

    Somehow I don't think America is read for v2 of the Boston Tea Party
    though...
