A few weeks ago we discussed the works of Keith Roberts, but "The Outlaw Bookseller" knows vastly more about KR than I do. In this video he gives
the publication history of various KR books I had either never heard
    of or knew little about.

For those who do not want to watch a 45 minute video one useful
warning to take from it is that the Berkley version of "The Chalk
Giants" for some reason deleted about a fifth of the novel. Beware
American versions based on the Berkley edition. And if you didn't
like "The Chalk Giants" check your edition(1).

I am on the hunt for those KR books I do not own. But it looks like it
    may be an expensive business.

It would almost be easier to arrange for the publication of a "Complete
Stories of Keith Roberts" collection. If only I'd sold wall street
    short in 2008....

    (1) I once had a long argument with a friend who absolutely hated
Nicholas Monsarrat's "The Cruel Sea". Only after an hour or so
did we discover that our editions varied wildly, which his being
censored of anything violent or sexual or tragic. "The mildly
    annoying sea".

I know for a fact I had the Berkley. Ah, well.
