NEW TRAILER | The War Between the Land and the Sea
There is not a single masculine male character in this show at all,
going by this trailer. A show revolving around women in men's roles, men depicted as being socially inept morons who are all weak, stupid, and feeble, and homosexuality and bestiality with an androgynous fish lizard.
Who is this series being aimed at?

I'd like to think the trailer isn't the best bits, as it isn't very inspiring.
A show revolving around women in men's roles, men depicted as being
socially inept morons who are all weak, stupid, and feeble,
That seems to describe a lot of the Gen Z 'snowflake generation'...
and homosexuality and bestiality with an androgynous fish lizard.
Nobody seems to mind about that sort of thing... well, they didn't the
last time we saw a human-reptile relationship anyway. <shrugs>
Who is this series being aimed at?
People who need to watch a show where the message of humans destroying
our world needs to be hammered home... and as it's produced by RTD,
hammered home it will be. Expect plenty of emotional drama too.

Except, trailers are purposely made up of the "best",
non-spoilery, bits to entice you into watching the whole
thing. :-)

If it wasn't a Doctor Who spin-off I can honestly say that
the trailer would not be enticing me to watch it.
I will watch it and hope for the best, but with RTD you kind
of know in advance that it's going to be full of good ideas,
badly developed, with some in-your-face messaging and moralising
thrown in for good measure.
I don't know what sort of people outside of Doctor Who fans
will watch this... but hopefully it can attract some neutrals
to make the project worthwhile.

Many are so disgusted with RTDv2 that many a Youtube
reviewer will fail this.

People into gay bestiality is who he's aiming it at. Remember
the lizard people have also been established to be homosexual
and beastialistic as well.

It's on at the same time as the final of I'm A Celebrity
with Ant and Dec. Guess which one people will be watching?

It may as well not be a Doctor Who spinoff, since he isn't in
this.
FWIW, The Doctor never made an appearance in "Torchwood" either...

That was just his hand and the sound of the TARDIS, the Doctor never actually appeared in the episode.

Reportedly, the Doctor was never in Torchwood because the
moron in charge didn't want kids watching Torchwood and
thought if they knew the Doctor was in it, then they would
want to watch it.

The first two episodes are already on some naughty-websites.

Link?
Not sure if it's allowed, plus they'd get shut down
a lot quicker if they're posted everywhere.
I can't be bothered watching it anyway. :-)

I heard that this was a policy decision, because children
might be tempted to watch Torchwood if they heard the
Doctor would be on it.

I didn't think Doctor Who had been a children's show for a
verrrry long time.

Most children these days wouldn't be caught dead watching
"Doctor Who".
That is how bad it has gotten.
I can't be too nitpicky as it was only the first two episodes,
but they were watchable.
