Furi TV Show Teaser Trailer Previews Video Game Adaptation

Midnight Embers Productions has shared the first teaser trailer
for its upcoming TV adaptation of Furi, based on the 2016 s
ci-fi action video game by independent game studio The Game
Bakers. The miniseries is expected to arrive on digital on
November 8, 2025.?

What does the Furi TV show teaser trailer show?
The video offers a first look at Furi's main cast led by Barty
Shepherd (Next Big Thing, Sinners Haven) as The Rider. Shepherd
has experience performing martial arts at the London Royal
Opera House, and the trailer highlights some of his action
sequences. The ensemble cast also includes Yanick Ghanty as
The Voice, James Unsworth as The Chain and The Hand, Julian
London as The Line, Olivia Jannesson as The Song, Ermar
Alexander as The Line, Fabio Miale as The Edge, Tamaira Hesson
as The Beat, and Charlie Griffiths as The Star.?

In addition to leading the cast, Shepherd is also serving as
the writer and showrunner for the Furi adaptation, which is
being described as a mind-bending, pulse-pounding adventure. To
remain faithful to its source material, the series was developed
in close collaboration with the original game creators, The Game
Bakers. It hails from Midnight Embers Productions, with Lucy
Miles set as its producer. The miniseries' soundtrack will
feature game cult favorites such as Carpenter Brut, Danger, and
The Toxic Avengers.

"Enter Furi and meet The Rider, a lone warrior, who, after years
of incarceration in an otherworldly, mystical prison, has been
freed by a mysterious figure known as The Voice.? He must now
battle his way through surreal worlds and brutal environments -
each ruled by a powerful Guardian hiding deeper truths. Our
protagonist confronts each of his formidable captors as he faces
the ultimate mission: to save his species from extinction," reads
the synopsis. "Through the series, we're introduced to more brave
warriors, all with their own demons, in a universe where everyone
is fighting for their own version of justice, and the line
between hero and villain is blurred. The warriors are driven by
purpose: freedom, redemption, pride, power, love. Each believes
their battle is a duty, but who defines what's right and wrong?"
