I think it is US or north American residents only. When I try the link
(not that I'd be subscribing anyway), I get redirected to the
Paramaount+ international page with no mention of a deal, nor anything
else really ... it's a useless website.

As just about every subscription service including Apple TV+
raises prices, "Star Trek" and NCIS franchise streamer
Paramount+ is offering half off its subscription fees for
new or returning users' first year.
Apple's price rise took Apple TV+ to $12.99 per month, with
neither an annual option, nor a lower-cost ad-supported tier.
Under the new special offer, Paramount will cost from $2.50
per month. (If you buy through our links, we may get a

Annually, it means Apple TV+ costs $155.88 - unless you have
it via the Apple One Bundle - and Paramount+ costs $30.
That's for the ad-supported version, but Paramount+ is also
offering an ad-free tier for $5.99/month, or $71.88 per year.
The offer is only for the first 12 months, though it applies
to both new subscribers and ones who are returning to the
service. It's also only available to buy until September 18,
so few existing users have sufficient time to to cancel their
contract and re-up under the new offer.
This does mean that Paramount+ is the cheapest of all the
big-name streamers, if you can take advantage of the deal. It
compares to an ad-supported Disney tier at $9.99 per month,
and Netflix's ad tier of $7.99.
As ever, though, even a tempting price can be worthless. If
you are crazy keen to see the new "Slow Horses" starting on
Apple TV+ on September 24, then getting the new "NCIS: Tony &
Ziva" and just about everything "Star Trek" for less on
Paramount+ isn't a savings.

Parnell has been poached to join the Paramount+ marketing
team.
