In a room full of fish wrap, oh what a sight,
Talentless scribes with their egos take flight.
They scribble in circles, like fish in a bowl,
Words flopping around, but they lack any soul.

With headlines like “Tuna in Tiaras” they write,
As halibut heroes prepare for a fight.
Each article flounders, a catch of the day,
But the fish just swim off, leaving puns in dismay.

A crab in a tux gives a critical stare,
Saying, “Darlings, your prose is a watery affair!”
Yet still they keep writing, no sense of the mess,
In a world of fish wrap, they’re the kings of distress.

So toast to the nonsense, let laughter ensue,
For every bad pun, there’s a fish joke or two.
In this sea of absurdity, we swim and we splash,
As fails of the talentless make a splashy rehash!

    PS: Douchebag delenda est

Yes, this is superb, with metaphor, allegory, allusion, alliteration and
a rhyme scheme for the ages. "A Room Full of Fish Wrap stands at the
    top of modern poetry.
