    On Mulberry Drive

    On Mulberry Drive
    walking in the Spring rain.
Except for signs of a driveway
    nothing else remains.
    They took it all away
    the house and the hill.
That spot we shared in '78
    all the love and thrills.

    Oblivion is coming
    it's written in the stone.
    It really starts out
on the day that you're born.
    Live every second
    dance what you've captured.
    Shadowville Mythos...
    is on the last chapter.

    On Mulberry Drive
    on another mystery play.
    Almost fifty years ago
    still seems like yesterday.
    That long driveway
    now goes into space.
    We thought we'd live forever
    not dead and disgraced.

    Darkness is falling
    archived in a book.
    It really gets smaller
    the closer you look.
    Breathe deeply my darling
smoke them if you have to.
    Shadowville Mythos...
    is on the last chapter.

    On Mulberry Drive
    now the hail's coming down.
    Taps on the umbrella
    as I'm walking around.
    I remember that fireplace
    I remember her smile.
    I remember Edgewood Park
where we'd laugh for a while.

    In the living room
    I heard a ghost moan.
As I talked with the Cavalier
    on a land line telephone.
    Relive every second
    these memories you've captured.
    Shadowville Mythos...
    is on the last chapter.

Both poems *repeat* their title *phrase* at either the start or
finish of multiple stanzas. "On Mulberry Drive" becomes a refrain in
your poem *exactly* as "And to think that I saw it on Mulberry
    Street" does in Dr. Seuss'.

Both poems purport to relate various things that the speaker
    experienced On Mulberry Street/Drive.

You admit that you had read Dr. Seuss' book as a boy, and it is
obvious from your poem that Dr. Seuss' catchy refrain got stuck in
your subconscious, and influenced you to use the same repetitive
title/street name refrain in your poem.

It's really no big deal, as you could always say that it was an
allusion to Seuss's book that sets up an ironic comparison between
the two thoroughfares. Which, in a very broad way, it does.

So what hissy fits are you talking about

How about the one you were having when you wrote this?

Was it the one where Michael stalked people to find out where the video
of Zorro was posted on youtube and people we

I've been informed that simply looking at people's web sites isn't
    stalking after all, Cujo.

At least that's what I'm told when NancyGene stalks my Facebook page and
    other personal information.

Was it the one where Michael went to Retro Guy and whined about that
    Cujo a**hole?

Retro Guy can see where happening without my help

Will Dockery denies that he had anything to do with telling Retro Guy to
ban Cujo. Retro Guy is not saying.

I didn't have anything to do with any of it.

    Will Dockery buries the things

Actually your fellow troll Harry Lime has been burying the newsgroup in
his photo spamming vandalism, which you seem to have no problem with.
