    For this week's Classic Doctor, I'll be screening the second half of The
    War Games. IMO, this is killer. I love big scary Time Lords.

    Next week, I'll head into Three's era. I'm hoping someone will join at
    that point. :-)

    I'm not worried. Worst case here is that I watch classic Doctor each
    weekend, which is still pretty okay.

    That sounds like a good way to spend the weekend... when
    there's no football on watching classic era Doctor Who is
    my favourite pastime.

    Love it. It's one of my favorite episodes, despite its length. They keep
    the slow burn going for ten episodes, gradually leading to the discovery
    of *another* *Time* *Lord*, and even that is cranked up higher by the
    Doctor summoning his people's authorities.

    It's great when he's urging everyone to hurry, HURRY, get out of here
    before they arrive. The Doctor is *scared* of those guys. The mighty
    wind upon their arrival and the Doctor's own reaction showed the
    incredible power they possessed.

    Later, of course, they became clowns who alternated between arresting
    the Doctor and making him President. When they first appear, though,
    they are terrifying.

    Yep, I'm fine with it so far.
