    future. Russel can't hire a new actor to regenerate into, also due to uncertainty. So the show wakes from hibernation in 2027/28, and some techno-bollocks is revealed to explain Rose Tyler popping into to say hello.

    The series is completely dead. The only way now for it to come back is
    to erase the entire era from 2005 onwards. RTD has destroyed everything
    he created out of spite for the fans.

    It's unlikely Piper is really the next incarnation of the Doctor. She's
    just a temporary figure until they actually hire a new actor.
