    Well, Ncuti Gatwa leaving the show is hardly a new rumour, the
    reasons being given are new though.

    Some online sources had said Ncuti quit months ago and a
    regeneration scene had been filmed... so <shrugs>... who
    knows? But one thing is certain, we'll be finding out very
    soon.

    The BBC does use the word "axed" (i.e. fired), but does not mention if
    he has voluntarily quit.
