THERE WERE NO FLYING TRAINS IN THAT EPISODE!!!
For further clarity...
THERE WERE NO FLYING TRAINS IN VICTORY OF THE DALEKS!!!
But third times a charm...
VICTORY OF THE DALEKS DID NOT CONTAIN ANY SCENE OF TRAINS
FLYING!!!
Wasn't you a school teacher? You'll know that repetition is
the first principle of learning then!
Now go and watch the episode again...
I back BS over Dannyboy!

Not really.

Er... that thought scares me Dave... thanks though, but it's not
about taking sides.
If I hadn't seen "Victory of the Daleks" since it was broadcast
(2010) it's possible I could mis-remember things too... nobody
can remember everything about every Doctor Who episode. My
memory is very good but it ain't perfect! However, the last
time we discussed this here on RADW I had re-watched the episode
about three weeks before so it was very fresh in my mind. (I
love Daleks, they are the episodes that I do tend to re-watch
before any other.)
"Mavity" is the reason we know that we are currently in some
sort of parallel universe, which may or may not be connected to
the Toymaker...

The Wedding of River Song, with a timelocked, broken Earth, is
the one with dinosaurs, Romans, Winston Churchill, airships
and aerial trains.
"Mavity" is the reason we know that we are currently in some
sort of parallel universe, which may or may not be connected
to the Toymaker...
This, I sincerely hope, is the theme of "The Reality War" -
which will bring RTDs "mavity" teaser to a conclusion, and
possibly re-merge the Doctors? That would lay the groundwork
for the rumoured "second year of Tennant specials".
MY point is Dannyboy forgets too easily!

Now, let me see if I've got this right .... or at least right
enough to put Blueshirt out of his misery ......
*Wedding of River Song*
Winston, Flying Train, Amy, 5:02p.m., Time screwed up/stuck, A
Dalek,
*Victory of the Daleks*
Winston, WWII, Amy, Ironsides (a.k.a. Daleks),
Both Eps featuring DoctorMatt rather than the DoctorDavid that
I was expecting!!

Correct, both were 11th Doctor episodes... "Victory of the
Daleks" was from S5 and "The Wedding of River Song" was from
S6.
Your memory is better then that of Dannyboy there BS!

Yes, it IS unreasonable.
You are in your 70th year... so I say, perfectly
reasonable. So there!!! ;-)
Incorrect!!
Try again!
So who is the oldest Usenet poster still around?

Oldest person on RADW? Hmmm ...
Well, Daniel called me a pup when I said I was 59 a few weeks
back so that means he's a bit older than me. I'd say he'll be
close to winning that award as he's in his late 60's. But maybe
somebody else here is older than that?
Age = maturity, so it'll surely be one of the more sensible
people around here... i.e. not me or you!!!

From his recent postings Daniel has made it pretty clear that
he is 68, will be 69 some time this summer (well, winter from
his perspective) and will be 70 in 2026.
I'm 63 so think I'm the second oldest regular.

I was thinking overall UseNet.
Well, Binky, why don't YOU use YOUR vast ISP/NSP resources to
find out??

Actually age does not equal maturity, some grow wiser and some
just grow older.
Binky is in his mid-fifties and still as childish and idiotic
as he was starting out in Usenet.
