"Journey's End"
Never did work that out .... Why destroy The Universe .... The
Universe in which YOU live??
That wasn't what the bomb was for per se...it was to destroy all
non-Dalek life in every universe and dimension except those
within the Crucible... so the Daleks would be left as the sole
race in existence.
Like a lot of Dalek plans over the years it doesn't really make
a lot of sense if you think about it fully.

Not just Dalek plans ...
most TV and movies in general don't really make sense when you
think about it fully. Sci-fi, especially when involving time
travel, doubles-down on the not making sense.
That's why episodes of shows like Star Trek where they simply
push the big red reset button (literally in
the case of a David Tennant Doctor Who episode!) are just a
complete waste of time by lazy writers who can't think of
anything sensible to write.

Maybe? Haven't you watched the trailers or > you are < blind?

Ah!! So it was a Genetic-thing, with specific bits of Dalek
Genetic make-up immune to whatever 'The Reality Bomb' was set
up to blow up.

I think Dalek plans tend to be a bit more bonkers than most!
most TV and movies in general don't really make sense when you
think about it fully. Sci-fi, especially when involving time

That's why I don't over-analyse Doctor Who episodes too much, I
boil them down to whether I found them enjoyable to watch, or
not. Worrying about them not making sense or being proper
science based would just make me go dizzy. I'm quite forgiving
if I found an episode entertaining.
That's why episodes of shows like Star Trek where they simply

Oops!! That should of course have said Matt Smith, not David
Tennant, episode with the big red reset button.

Arthur: Oh.
Ford: What happened?
Arthur: A sign lit up saying 'Please do not press this button
again.'

Nope, not on any social media. Just here.
Don't you EVER confuse 'just here' with 'social media' ....
EVER!!
There was another line from 'Doctor Who' [...] that reminded
me of something Holly from HHGTTG might have said ... or,
Hang on, was She from 'Red Dwarf'?? [So much stuff to
re-re-watch!!] ;-P

Sounds like you are watching some "Greatest Hits" TV channel
for oldies...
Do you not have Netflix or something modern?! :-)
So many 'live' Free-to-Air T.V. channels .... they HAVE to
fill the time with something!!
