That wasn't what the bomb was for per se...it was to destroy all
non-Dalek life in every universe and dimension except those
within the Crucible... so the Daleks would be left as the sole
    race in existence.

Like a lot of Dalek plans over the years it doesn't really make
a lot of sense if you think about it fully.

Not just Dalek plans ... most TV and movies in general don't really
make sense when you think about it fully. Sci-fi, especially when
involving time travel, doubles-down on the not making sense. That's why episodes of shows like Star Trek where they simply push the big red
reset button (literally in the case of a David Tennant Doctor Who
episode!) are just a complete waste of time by lazy writers who can't
think of anything sensible to write.

    That's why I don't over-analyse Doctor Who episodes too much, I
boil them down to whether I found them enjoyable to watch, or
not. Worrying about them not making sense or being proper
science based would just make me go dizzy. I'm quite forgiving

    Why?

It's a cop out... you can't just keep going back to David
Tennant every time there's a drop in ratings and the show is in
    trouble.

If Ncuti Gatwa leaves then his Doctor should regenerate in to
the 16th Doctor. Well, unless you are un-writing everything that
has happened in the two Ncuti Gatwa seasons of course.

Although in fairness, RTD did say that he wouldn't unwrite
anything that his good friend wrote [Chris Chibnall], but he
didn't say anything about not un-writing anything that he
himself had wrote! So who knows?
