I was talking to my mother the other day about Gators and Crocks. Crocks are more aggressive. They'll swim 3 miles to bite you, not because it was hungry, but rather BECAUSE. Whereas Gators are not like that. They'll avoid you if possible... AS A GENERAL RULE.

So, my mother thought I meant that you can keep them as pets... sends me links on people who were attacked by a Gator... The point was missed...

Recall the story I told you when I first went to Florida, 4th of July celebration, kids were swimming in the canal and there were Gators sunning themselves not far away. I start to panic... I was told to relax...

I personally don't care what they say... I'm not going to swim where Gators are in case there is one that is hungry.

No, Canadian Geese are territorial and aggressive. They may look cute but they'll try to FUP with their beak, do not go over and try to pet one.

I saw a video of an elderly woman, in her 70s or whatever, where a Canadian Goose was aggressive and ran at her. The old lady ran towards the goose, shortened the distance between them, She grabbed the goose around its neck and she tossed in as far as she could.

Goose was completely confused by the old lady that it ran off and added to more aggression.

I learned a lot from that and I await for a goose to come my way... I will be the winner in that interaction.

There are some animals that Canada and the US share that can mess you up.

Buffalo, its actually Bison, the top 1/3 of Alberta is an area called Wood Buffalo... so it doesn't help... Buffalo(s) will f**k you up. They can weigh up to 2000 ponds and they are extremely protective to the herd.

I saw a video where someone wanted to get close to a buffalo to get a picture with it... The buffalo hooked on to them and literally tossed the person around 15 feet into the air. The only thing that saved the persons life was that he landed in a tree and he clung on for dear life.

I knew someone who went buffalo hunting they shot one. The entire herd surrounded the dead buffalo for a couple hours protecting it. Once they left the hunters went in to claim the animal.

In my house we have a term called a "Buffalo Eye" ... Buffalo's have that look (WTF did you just do look) before the kick your ass... I give my daughter what is called the Buffalo Eye when she's giving me grief. I do so to change her attitude and it seems to work.

An other Moose... The can weigh a lot, not like Buffalo... heave side at ~ 1000 pounds. They don't run in herds but they'll chase you and stomp you... A cow (female) will do anything to protect its calves.

So... now we've talked about 5 North American animals that are aggressive. I moved the Canadian Goose lower in the list because I saw the old lady kick its ass... Here's the list of North American Animals not to pet.

1) Buffalo

4) Gators
5) Canada Goose
