    I was reading the label on some fancy soap yesterday. The label mentions
    that the soap is VEGAN? That got me wondering, do vegans eat soap, or has washing a kid's mouth out with soap as a punishment for foul language come

    AIUI, vegans prefer to cut animal products out of their lives entirely, whence vegan non-food products.
