I had Claude rewrite me a DOS and Win32 version of Yankee Trader. Based off of the 3.6 exe's. Since I did no write this myself, I will release the code with the door game so others can tweak it. I'm not a fan of this door, but I have several users are. I'm more of a KNK kinda guy. :)

Feel free to telnet over and check it out.

Downloaded and installed the DOS version today. I tried it and it seems to work. A couple of things I noticed:

It is a little slower than the 1994 (and patched) version.

It did not display the scoreboard on exit.

Command stacking does not appear to work or, at least, not everywhere. Example: at the Computer menu, a user can type 3;3000;y in the 1994 version to be taken directly to sector 3000. If I try that in 2026, I am only able to type 3;300 before running out of "typing space." I can type each value separately (3 <cr> 3000 <cr> y <cr>) and it works.

One other difference between the 1994 version vs. 2026 is with the lottery.

In the 1994 version, the position of the number doesn't matter, e.g. if the users chooses: 867530

    And the computer returns: 285426

In the 1994 version, that would be a match of three digits -- 8, 5, and 6. However, in the 2026 version, because none of the numbers are in the same position, it matches none.
