• Geodetic Development Kit GeoDLL

From Fred Killet@3:633/10 to All on Fri Oct 16 08:28:56 2026
This note is intended for developers who write programs with geodetic functionality, such as coordinate transformations, datum shifts or
distance calculations. You can easily include ready-to-use geodetic
functions from the Geodetic Development Kit GeoDLL for this purpose.
This Dynamic Link Library is compatible with almost all modern
programming languages, including C, C++, C#, Basic, Delphi, Pascal,
Java, Fortran, xSharp and Python, as well as MS Office. Examples and interfaces are available for many programming languages.

GeoDLL suports worldwide 2D and 3D geodetic coordinate transformations
and datum shifts with NTv2 files or Helmert parameters with the highest possible accuracy. It also offers: HARN, INSPIRE, EPSG, elevation models (DEM), distance and time zone calculations, meridian convergence and
    much more.

GeoDLL is available as a 32-bit and 64-bit DLL, as well as in C/C++
source code format. Thanks to consistent development in C/C++ with
Microsoft Visual Studio, the DLL is very fast, secure and compact. All functions are prepared for multithreading and server processing.

Looks interesting. I do a lot of n-ary vector field work. If I can
expose it to "real world" data from various sensors it should be able to compute them using my algorithms. Say weather buoys, veins, stations can
be used. Right now I am just seeding it with data from other sources, fractals, etc.

Fwiw, here is a 2d example field from a circle intersection fractal of mine:

That's great! But fractals aren't my topic. It's more about geodesic coordinate transformations.

Wondering if I can integrate some of those transformations. Anyway, thanks.
