Javisst. A workaround is to Save as a different filename. Such a
problem rarely happens to me. Problems with only readable files which
happen to me often (often in comparison to how little I use a word
processor) with LibreOffice Writer follow. One frequent problem is
that navigating an only readable file is much less easy than with a
writable file. E.g. clicking on a number indicating a footnote behaves differently.
A frequent problem is LibreOffice Writer does not offer the keyboard (non-mouse) cursor for an only readable file, so making copying and
pasting less easy.
