All.. been a Qantas fanboi ever since a flight attendant bought my 10
year old son some dry ice in a cup (that was gassing out) and said "I'm
sorry you aren't allowed up to the cockpit, but the Captain caught some
cloud for you!" All were most impressed. (15 years ago)
full forward to today: planning another fishing trip to Perth. Seems
like Qantas is a bit greedy. Must be to help pay out the little
shirtlifter who nearly killed the brand.

Virgin Perth to Melb: VA684 $418
Qantas Perth to Melb: QF774 $770
Virgin total: $627
Qantas total: $1223
Only diff between the two, that i'm aware of, is Qantas offers some same planes...
