• A historic aircraft gets some TLC

This is one of the 2 Hueys that resupplied the Australian troops at the
battle of Long Tan in Vietnam (against orders)

It normally lives on the top of a pole at Caloundra RSL, it really ought
to be at the War Memorial or somewhere similar. If you watched the movie "Danger close", you'd have seen it there. After living in the open it
needs some TLC which we are supplying.

    Good to hear.
Could be worse, it could have been scrapped.
It would be good to have lots of money like Dave Sparks, you could have
a flying Huey which he can fly when the Blackhawk is in for a service:-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Rm3Zfwd6dk

Our own Huey, I am told, is just missing the igniters, and theoretically
with just those would fly again. Certainly it has been powered up and everything seemed to work, but, after sitting on the ground for 6+ years
it would need a major service.

Daryl, send me an e-mail to keithrrr@gmail.com, I have to stuff that may interest you.
